OnePlus Widget not updating weather automatically Nov 29, 2017

    Widget is not temperature data automatically. After the weather app is opened and new refreshed data loaded there, then the widget updating.

    Is is like that only or any fix for this issue is there ?

    Right, same here. I read somewhere to turn off the Battery Optimization for the app and it still not updating on the homepage automatically. Egads. I have the latest 1.8.0.x version.

    i would highly recommend Weather Timeline app. Beautiful live weather widgets and the app is also intuitive and nicely designed. Just a minor suggestion.

    2 years in since the thread initiated...
    I recently got a OP7 and I observed this limitation still exists.
    The things I can confirm did not work for me are:
    - Reinstalling the App
    - Turning off the battery optimization
    - Restarting the phone
    - Removing and putting back the widget

    Turning off battery optimization for the weather app has seemingly fixed this issue for me on my OnePlus 7 Pro.

    While I was trying to fix this issue, I uninstalled OnePlus Widget app.
    How can I reinstall it? I cannot find it in Play Store.

    I'm having this issue since I bought my OP7T in Novemebrr and they still haven't fixed it. Shame on you OnePlus support!
