Actually most people do not need a "phone". They need portable web and entertainment device.

I think I can even reduce this need to Facebook + gaming device. This should still cover ~90% of population.

Dang, I should have looked for this thread first before posting mine. I have the same dilemma. My personal opinion is to wait for the OnePlus X revel, but if you're needing a phone ASAP, I doubt you'll have any regrets with the One or 2.

I have both phones... I like the OPT better, the size, the camera, the screen. OS 2.1.1 is pretty stable now. Unless you need NFC I would buy the OPT.

The OneX is a great phone but has a smaller screen, it's up to you and your needs.

Both the OPO and OPX have the same specs, different disk and different screen size but the OPX does not have NFC. The OPT is higher specs with no NFC. I like bigger screen and more power.

Then again, some of us (me) block FaceBook IPs on my Cisco ASA at the house and run an on board Firewall on my phone for when I'm LTE to block facebook. Any time your browser even sees a Like button, Facebook is spying on you. Half the file download services out there fail with facebook blocked because they report the download to Facebook.

Did I mention I hate Facebook?
