i think that is a very good question. i know there are already a few cases in the store, but it would be good to know which one would be in the box?
is it a silicon case, a simple plastic case or maybe one of the Special cases like kevlar?

Is OPX Onyx too fragile because of the glass back? and it requires strong protection?

due to glass back, it would require a cover or a tempered glass..

I think they ship it with the translucent gray case. Jonathan Morrison made a video about the OPX and he shows what's in the box in this video at 0:06.

I agree with WesselP because I saw the same thing WesselP saw. The fact that they are putting the protective gadget in the box should tell you it's not going to be top of the line.

yea going to need a better protective case, the one you get probably wont protect it at all.

Mine came with the clear grey silicone cover and a screen protector already on it. Not the most exciting thing but it works.

Tempered glass seems the least likely thing to protect the phone in a fall. It would probably just transfer the energy perfectly to the phone.

Got mine 5 days ago. Was super excited. It took an unfortunate drop due to someone bumping me from behind now the screen is broken. Definitely not durable. It had the transparent gel case on. Still waiting on my support ticket to know where and how to get a repair or replacement.
