Sound OnePlus5 goes automatically to silent mode randomly Feb 14, 2018

    My one plus 5T goes to silent mode by itself even when the alert slider is all the way down.

    It's actually happening right now as I am typing this message on my phone. It stated happening this past 2 weeks. I also have installed an update that was pushed out 3-4 days ago and the issue still persists.

    Looks like I am not the only one dealing with this bug based on a few complaints that I see when doing a search on this topic.

    Facing same issue on oneplus 5
    I tried reboot and it worked but after some time again it goes to silent mode..
    I have also cleared cache but didn't work.. Must be problem with oreo update 5.0.2

    known issue. happens on end call and earphone removal. only fix right now is to reboot phone or make a call and put it on speakerphone and hangup. please make a bug report as OnePlus is trying to fix the issue

    even I am facing same issue on my one plus 5 it goes normal when i reeboot may be this will be resolved with an update

    I also have this, phone randomly going silent. With this and the random home screen / minimizing, I think this is my first and last OnePlus phone...

    Any resolutions to this? I still have this bug in version Android 9 OxygenOS 9.0.0 and ONEPLUS A5010_43_181223.

    I am experiencing this issue. When slider is in the silent position the phone automatically goes back and forth from ring to silent. This is a major incoviinconve as I now have to turn off my phone during any occasion where my ringer might disturb someone. The phone is now less useful than a flip phone. My phone is a op5 running oxygen 9.0.4. I would really appreciate some support on this issue so that I may continue to have faith in OnePlus as a company. Please help.
