I know what you mean (bump) but with even the stock case it's not a thing. Sits near-as flat

OP7 is fantastic phone, I've not enjoyed a phone so much for as long as I can remember

camera (software) is improving dramatically and when using GCam it's simply amazing

it's got all the power, the sound, screen is great to watch, read, so expansive (it's as wide as the Pro in practical viewable terms)

    [e]2665[/e]️neplus 7 all the way

I really like the 7 over the pro but starting to question if its really worth keeping over my 6 I mean it is an upgrade in every department but it doesn't really feel any different if you know what I mean.

Return the phone. If enough of us don't buy it and half of you all that have bought it send it back because of this issue then hopefully they'll never use one of these ridiculous looking idiotic screens ever again

I've been using the phone since release day and was considering returning early on. It's grown on me a lot. I actually enjoy the screen and the real estate on it has been amazing. Battery has been good so all in all changing my view to say it was a good decision. Not a great decision but the burn in from my 5t was really annoying me. I would recommend screen changes for the next flagship model. Great conversations btw.

Oneplus, please stop this shit with the curved screen or I will buy an iPhone 11 Pro Max or a Galaxy S10+.

The price is also not a flagship killer price compared to Samaung Galaxy S10+ that I can get much cheaper than Oneplus 7 Pro in my country. Did I mention the much better cameras on the Galaxy S10+? GCam Fotos are not that good, too.

Galaxy S10+ and especially the Galaxy Note 10+ have a much less curved screen. At least, it is better than nothing.

Oneplus 7(T) ist not an option for me. I want all the features of the 7(T) Pro.

Coming from a Galaxy S8, Samsung definitely does a better job with the curve being steeper and more towards the edge. The 7 Pro's curve starts too early and is too gradual, distorting more of the screen. Hopefully they correct it or just ditch curved displays in general. Still not a big enough issue to return the 7 Pro, the overall full screen display and 90Hz refresh rate experience is amazing. What will be a bigger misstep will be if they go with that disgusting punch-hole look next year. Main reason why I moved away from Samsung.

i have op7t and screen is flat and that's was the main reason to pick 7t over 7 pro.

If it's such a big issue.. why did they continue same design for 7T pro?

My previous phone had curved edges just like 7 Pro. I don't have a problem with how it looks. I just don't see that curved edges actually add much. It's mostly design and looks. The rest is mostly adding more weaknesses and a few minor perks like horizon light

Curved screens are not fit for purpose in terms of watching media.

You will never get a tv for your home that curves top and bottom for good reason.

It's a design compromise so it doesn't feel as thick.

So the OP8 has finally been fully leaked and we know that it will have the same curved edges as the 8 pro - so will be unusable for those of us that like to watch TV on our phones without glare and distortion

Try the Galaxy S10 lite - it's got a huge, flat, rectangular screen

Think the Lite version is rumored to be flat.
Personally I don't see much of a problem... But on the other hand I rarely watch video. But when I do I have the proper lightning for it. The darker the better if you ask me
