Oneplus7Pro Screen timeout not work via OnePlus 7 Pro

  1. G_bipin_bankar_JUbM , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Jul 29, 2021 :
The Screen timeout in my phone doesn't engage so it keeps the screen up all the damn.Because of this the phone gets hot and also the battery drains rapidly.

Checked the developer settings, the saty in whule charging feature is turned off.
I guess some app is keeping it up.How do i check which app is the culprit?

Please check if the issue persist in the safe mode too ( in this mode 3 party apps will be disable and when you get out of the safe mode apps will work again normally ).

    (1) Steps to boot device into safe mode :

    1. Press and hold power button.
    2. Now press and hold either POWER OFF or RESTART button .
    3. Press OK
    4. Wait for the phone to restart.

Here check your screen timeout , engaging in tome or not .

    (2) steps to get out of Safe Mode .

    1. RESTART the device.

Try this if you see any development report here .

Now that you have updated it, just clear the cache of the OnePlus launcher and then restart your device.

Try to Re-flash the current OOS version or try to reset, I think these are the only options.
Please TAKE BACKUP OF EVERYTHING before proceeding with any of the above mentioned methods.
