OP 5T Lag

    ramakanth1408, Jan 5, 2018 :
Hi, I was an OP3 and OP5 user earlier. Though I was impressed by the performances of the earlier two phones, OP5T is strikingly bad. Camera and WhatsApp are pretty laggy. And swapping between the apps is also not as smooth as the earlier devices. Is there a way to improve the performance or is it the device that's bad?

Laggy? Your new, shiny OnePlus 5T? It can't be!
I suggest you clear the cache in recovery and also the cache in apps then restart, that should help.

I personally don't feel any lag in OP5T, try clearing your cache.

OP OS is supposed to be so good and all you ever hear is clear the cache.
    I wonder why that is.;)

Sometimes my phone hangs for a second or so. This is not so bad but I haven't expected something like this ever on my previous devices.

It's so good only, but its still an OS that involves codes to write and not prepared out of butter or oil. And clearing cache is like - tsunami wiping off misbehaving white sharks for sailors to sail through smoothly.

Yes, I experience the same issue with WhatsApp and yes the phone does lag a bit but it should work just fine by clearing cache . After the new update I did observe lags but previously it was fine must be some bug I am sure the update would fix it.

Too many speed hacks, if you run on the edge you will fall over.
Every OP device the cure to fix all issue's is clear the cache.:tearsofjoy:

Right out of d box and/or after an OTA update if a phone's apps misbehave, cleaning the cache resolves almost all of it, additionally its very less time consuming than troubleshooting app by app and doesn't harm anything. If still not resolved, it's time to troubleshoot app by app.

    Lol you're missing the point.
I have never seen of heard of any device before or since the OPO and subsequent OP devices that required so much cleaning of the cache.
That is down to whatever they are doing with the software, each device and each OS has had the same issues so there is obviously something specific they are doing.;)

Lol, automatic night mode, right out of my 5T wasn't changing display temperature. Cleared cache, issue resolved - OP5T (OPPO).

Is that supposed to be a good thing? Poor software dude that's what it is, read through each devices history and that is what you will see.

I have never had a device where something didn't work out of the box or subsequently that required a cleaning of the cache. Except for when I have had a OP:D

I haven't used Xposed for awhile but the last time I did I noticed a lot of fixes specifically for the OP. Again suggesting that they are doing something with the software that others are not;)
