Why do you keep creating new threads about the same thing? There are lots of threads about the lack of NFC and Quickcharging already.

Good observation. I have a smartphone with NFC but I used it two times in two years. I hope to get an invite to buy one plus two as soon as possible. :).

Yea but a type-C in general is faster than microUSB. (quote from some website, "It can deliver power at up to 100 watts at 20 volts.")

At least for me one plus meant getting a phone with stuff i need and no extra junk for a great price. so no NFC or WC doesn't bother me.

I don't care about either of those but fast charging or at least the same as OPO was expected!

"Futureproof" yet lacks so many features that were considered "Standard" back in 2010. Guess i'll wait for the Nexus 5 refresh. I can't believe that OnePlus is using the Apple-style of intentionally holding back features that came out years ago so they can sell another model later.

Even i do not know. I have never used NFC in my OPO. Charging is not a problem to me at-least i used to get one complete day battery. So fast charging is not very important for me.

I use NFC all the time especially with Google Wallet. Other than that, the $30 dollar cost increase about warrants it.

Disappointed of the teasing. Not a OnePlus Two, this is a OnePlus OnePointFive.

I never used nfc in my whole smart phone life.its useless in my opinion. Nxt wuick charge...how will you need it if your battery last more than a day with moderate usage? Remebet this is 3300mah battery. Its worth every penny.

I think people see NFC as a means to future proof their device against Android Wallet.

IMO, future proofing is spending your money now so you don't have it the future.

you guys are telling no one uses the NFC but the thing is when it is available all would at least think of using it i agree that NFC has a limited application right now but if more ppl try to use it then there would be some improvement in this field i personally feel its a great technology

This is a totally serious question. I see all the posts about how the OP2 can't claim to be future proof if it doesn't have NFC... and I can see that if we really think that this technology has a future, but if I'm being honest with myself I never use it. I don't think I know anybody who uses it. So please tell me. What do you use it for? I like a lot of things about the OP2 and I'm just trying to get a handle on whether or not this is going to be a make or break issue.
