My Oneplus Two sometimes reaches 51 degree. Should I get it replaced? I checked the temp using CPU-Z app. Also there are some kernel tweaking apps in market, should we try them.

You should say how this was tested. Its not accurate if not testing in real time with an overlay. By the time you switch apps to look at temp, its dropped. Use CpuTemp and it's overlay function.

My OPO will bounce off the thermal throttle with prolonged hardcore cardboard since it never gets a chance to cool down. Observed 76C

You must hate your phone. Heat doesn't hurt it nearly as much as the sudden change in temp. Next time just turn it off and let it cool.

That isn't hot. And it has a built in throttle to protect itself (set at 75C).

Yea the phone doesn't heat up as other phones. I don't know why people spam the forum saying its heating.

That's cause the rim is a heat sink. Better out than in

Incorrect. Post real numbers and you'll see the OPO is hotter. The difference is the OPO keeps it inside while the heat sink on the OPT transfers it to your hand

    Icing it down? LOL.

Anyone reading .... if somehow your phone hits 90+C (throttle temp is 75 so thid should never happen), I strongly suggest you hit the power button and set it down. Do NOT ice it down!
