I know I said Nexus 6p or S7, but those are out of my price range. I just wanted to know if the OP2 issues have been fixed. If so, I will buy another one.

    Another one?
    Means you already have one?
Why don't you try it yourself?

Storage capacity isn't a problem than 5X Or else OP2.

You guys know each other well I don't.
OP I feel sorry for your loss. 5X for sure. Don't wait for updates just go with Google. :)

Since you'll be possibly giving it to your sister again, I think 16gb is more than enough. :)

I'm not agree with you on this. OnePlus has managed to sold Over 1 million OPOs and relatively similar or higher figure to OP2 n OPX.

I agree, you may had bad experience in the past, but doesn't define it as a BAD Company in general.

Out of that million I Own 3 OPO And all 3 works just as new. On Stock CM12.1.1 with SOT more than 6hrs+

When I look at the nexus 5x specs, I feel like I am getting ripped off for the price though, 2gb ram vs 4,snapdragon 808 vs 810,32 gb memory vs 64, but Im not sure which is best.

Back in the 2014, where company were relatively new in the market. And over a one year of span managed to sell 1 million units, that's definitely a lot.
And let me remind you, that to without any promotions.

I ordered the 5X on the grey market about 3 weeks ago. Its on its way at last. It's for my missus. The 808 is a capable enough chip, but my missus is not a gamer or anything like that. She'll just be surfing, play a bit of Spotify and FB. For her, the 5X is more than enough. Not sure if it would be for me.

Its a LG and Nexus on top of it so nothing to think about for at least 3-4 years now.

I agree specs are below average to the price they're charging but I would go with it bcos of Nexus only n not bcos of LGelectronics.

For me it was the battery, 3300 vs 2700 mAh, but each to his own. All the rest I could've lived without, and I prefer the 5.2" screen, but that and the price were the key factors. Neither is a bad choice. Oh, and on Nexus warranty is probably voided after rooting, unlike OP2.

If you're residing In India than without having second thought just go with Refurbished/Open box OnePlus 2.

Will cost you somewhere between Rs.16000-17,500/- or less depends on how much cash back or discount you get.

I'll assure, you'll be thanking me later. That's a promise. I have a contact on online retailer. They'll hook you up with best possible deal for you on eBay.

I'm not a dealer, I made a friend by purchasing products from him. I'm not involved in any way but I can assure your happiness.

Why not to go with Nexus 6 instead? It will be around same pricetag as OP2 on eBay. ;)

I'm pretty sure it's the same as OP. It doesn't void the warranty, but if you break it rooting then it may void it. It is easy to unroot if you have hardware issues.
