It can also be done from Backup and reset>factory reset>system data
    Or
Recovery menu>English>wipe data and cache>reset system settings.

You will lose all your apps and apps data though.

Thank you so much for all the tips! I'm no where near as tech savvy as anyone here, I went from a Moto G3 to the OP3T just to experience a really decent phone without baking the bank. I love my 3T, but noticed more battery drain after the first OS update. Just switching to Friendly and Flamingo already seems to have made a big difference, Android system is finally using less battery than my screen for a change. Admittedly, I didn't use my phone as much as usual since the last charge, but can't say I've ever seen it say I have FOUR days left. Thanks again!

There's expected to be some heat while charging just leave the phone for a little while and it should cool off.

I got problem with battery as well before. Nie I installed FreedomOS and battery is great! Now SOT is around 3,5h with all sync, bluetooth and 4g on, all the time which is great for me... I know 3,5h is not max what I can get but for me is good enough. On OOS was MAX 2h

Should the optimised toggle be put on for non messaging apps and other none important apps

Messaging apps and other apps that you need running in the background and you need notifications from should be "unoptimized" everything else should be optimized Screenshot_20170529-153136.png
