[OP3] Camera focus issue

  1. GioGioOnePlus Froyo Jun 27, 2016

    GioGioOnePlus, Jun 27, 2016 :
So I've just got my OP3 a couple of days and my camera isn't focussing, at all. Tapping the screen won't help, i've tried another camera app, does not help either. Even snapchat cam doesnt focus. It specificly does not focus at close ranges (vary from 10cm up to 1m). I've just wiped my whole phone and rooted it but still the same issue, please guys help me.

There maybe an update soon to fix camera issues, you may want to wait for that.

But I don't see ANYONE with the same issue, might it be possible that it is an hardware issue?

Contact OP customer service. What have you got to loose?
If it is a hardware issue they will replace the phone (within 15 days you can always sent it back anyway).

Manual focus doesn't work either. Really no difference adjusting the slider

Yeah I have the same problem with mine, contacted costumer support so they let me choose if I want to return, replace or in warranty repair.

Don't really know, UPS should be picking up my phone today and from the shipping label I see it's going to Germany. I hope to get the replacement phone on 1-2 weeks time.

That sure sounds like hardware. I would recommend return and rebuy. Actually you could rebuy and use that one without the camera.

Will do, but beware that replacement and return/refund is only available for 15 days after purchase so if this issue is really hardware issue your only choice will be in warranty repair.

So my device passed the inspection meaning that it wasn't my fault for the camera issue, so they are going to send me the replacement device.
