Thanks for the response, I appreciate it! I thought that might be the case, oh well. Just another motivation to switch to a custom ROM!!!

New VertexOS is up and is as usual really, really good. This is now the Darkobas of the OP3 for me, my go to ROM. Here Enjoy, whoever is out there.

I'm getting very close to just breaking down and shelling out $9 for Titanium Pro. I like the OOS Beta but I haven't taken the last 2 updates since they got rid of proximity wake. Does Vertex have this feature? And do you need a custom kernel or just use whatever it comes with?

Titanium is well worth the money if you're flashing ROMs .
    Yes.
VertexOS comes with Render kernel built in and there is absolutely no need to flash another one.
Check out the XDA thread for all your needs. I highly recommend it.

Cheers, appreciate the info. I'll have to add Vertex to the list of ROMs to try. Any idea about the proximity wake feature though? That's an important feature to me... for some strange reason :p

Vertex will be smoother, PA will have better battery life with being smooth enough (not as smooth as Vertex).
Vertex is more stable than PA and has less bugs.
Vertex has lesser features and is stock android like, PA also has less features but it's more than what vertex has.
    Pick your poison.
I'd go with Vertex after trying PA.

Hey there Beastmaster , sorry to bump an old thread but it seemed like the right place to ask. Wondering if you have any experience with Skydragon for the OP3?

Two things I was trying to figure out but couldn't find: how often do they put out updates (monthly security at least?), and does it support dash charge?

Hope you're doing all right :)

Haha, no worries. Appreciate the reply. Not sure what telegram is though, similar to discord? So in your experience, are they pretty regular with updates?

Oh no! How so? Is it no good for a daily driver? Is there a more stable ROM you'd recommend?

    Sup. Never tried Skydragon.
Right now I'm jumping between AOSiP and LOS 16 which I reckon are the cleanest ROMs right now. Both are updated regularly and are daily driver ROMs.
Of course, best is relative as we're all different and have different preferences.

None of the pie ROMs are, coz OnePlus hasn't update their device! I'm lazy and now I have no time to flash and USB 2.0 type c is pain in the a s s!
    It's like whatsapp!!!

Try Dian's LOS16.0 with Caesium kernel, working fine for me.

Coolio, thanks guys. I'll keep that in mind, and hopefully the ROMs get better after the official OP3 pie drops.
