OP3T or Wait?

I'm having a hard time deciding if I should get the One Plus 3t now or wait for the one plus 5 Wich is rumored to be released april-june. My main reason for this is because there will be phones with the Snapdragon 835 withing 1-2 months, and I don't want to have an inferior phone that soon, but at the same time I don't necessarily want to want to wait 4 months for a new phone. I am still using the Moto X (2014) as of now and I would like to know your best recommendation for me. Also my budget is about $500 max for a phone and another $50 for accessories like a case, screen protector, and upgrading to USB C chargers. Thanks!

I would suggest you to wait for another 3 months or so...So that you will be getting a phone with all the best specs and performance...

Till that time, Moto X would be perfectly fine.

Otherwise, you should have to feel later for not been able to get the latest one with everything new.

I couldn't wait. Had same idea. Got it today and I'm very happy. When you think about it is more like 6 months. The 5 is set for June (rumours) plus you don't want to order right away because what if they're are issues with that chip or the phone. So it's good to wait after it comes out but that may be half a Year from now.

I don't see what is so hard once you have read the specs of the SD835, it's an easy one.
More power( + 230k benchmark rumoured)
    Faster charging( 4.0 )
Better battery life ( if the same type of screen is used)
More cheese( when your smiling after decimating a 3T):D

Get it now!, as soon as Oneplus releases a new phone, they will bump up the price and as of now, you can't beat the 3T's price.

Follow your heart. Else necessity decides for you.
Anyway OP3T is a Good choice for now.

I think the price will go up. But the new phone will come only around June, especially bcos Samsung seems to be hoarding the new processors (according to SamMobile). So, if you are not willing to wait till June or not willing to pay the additional price, then buy OP3T... else wait.

honestly I'd say waiting would be better specs wise if your planning on playing games on it very often.

I had the Moto X 14, the best smartphone I have ever had... Befor I had the iPhone 5, and after the Moto X 14 I went to the Moto X Style/Pure. I liked that one... but the concept was different and Lenovo or the new moto is crap...

So now I am inside the OP family with the OP3T and I am very happy with it.

Since 800/801 the power is enough for all, even gaming

Right now the Android market is a real blame... Most devices have huge cons... I recommend an iPhone, a Pixel, a OP3T, HTC 10 and I cant think im other one...

I still have an LG G2 on 7.1.1 whilst it's still capable it is most certainly not capable of topline gaming.

I'd say wait. Moto X is a decent enough phone to last you a few more months and the new OnePlus is going to be in your budget too. Even if it doesn't live up to its hype after a great phone like OnePlus 3T, you can just get OP3T cuz it's not going to slow down or be outdated anytime soon
