So just read that groupon is couponing the S8..

Whats the better deal? Im thinking the S8 rather then the OP5 8G variant.
Paying a little more but worth it! Thoughts?

Personally I think the oneplus 5 is worth it to buy. The camera shoots stunning pictures and overall the new phone is a big upgrade of the two older ones (Oneplus 3(T)). Additionally the mobile phone handles cached apps in RAM very well. I recommend buying the oneplus 5. [e]1f609[/e]

Depends on what you want to do with your phone. S8nis a great phone, but bloated and locked.

Depends on what you like, personally I prefer phones as clean as possible. One plus offers basically stock with customizations - making it less heavy than the s8.

Have the S8+, it's now my backup since getting the OP5. If I had it to do over again I'd have skipped the S8+. The gimmicks are fun for a day or two but TouchWiz bogs down and gets horrifically laggy after a couple weeks, camera isn't a whole lot better (for my use, all I do is snap outdoor photos on walks in broad daylight) and battery life can't compare at all. Not to mention the bloat and how fragile it feels. Gorgeous phone though.

    I'd say one plus.
    I don't like s8.
Not that fast. Shitty back fingerprint.
The design is amazing but you'll have to hide it in an ugly case to make it easy to use... So no point here.

I think one plus is more durable phone

It's not all about the Ram, so I'll go for the S8. Your never going to use more than 3-4 gigabytes of ram at any given point so 8gb isn't an S8 deal breaker. The S8 is vastly superior in other ways

I think op5 at the current price points of the two phones. if s8 was the same price, I'd probably recommend it for the better camera, likely better customer support, and bleeding edge new tech. I prefer the op5 because of its price, it's flagship specs, I am totally fine with it's camera, it's spectacular software, and battery life. the s8 screen while "futuristic" seems mostly like a gimmick and an increased risk of damage in my opinion. I like that a larger screen is fit on a smaller overall body, but the curved edges seem to carry more costs than benefits in my eyes

I'm surprised that you're s8+ is not giving Bette battery life. The tests I've seen has the exynos s7 edge coming first, s8 plus not far behind followed by iphone 6s plus and op5.

Ive had the S8+ for over a month and its been great so far.

It hasn't bogged down at all.
    No lagg whatsoever.
    Battery is fantastic
And its Jelly Scroll free =P !

It's not bad, but it only does about 6.5-7 hours of SOT if I really milk it and micro manage. My OnePlus 5 pegs 9.5 hours of SOT every day with everything on and 10 on occasion. For what it's worth my S8+ is a snapdragon variant.

Not here. Or for most reviewers revisiting it lately for "after the buzz" updates. It's a well known problem with TouchWiz though and has plagued every S series phone. That's good for you though! My OnePlus 5 is jelly scroll free as well! If it ever gives me trouble though I've still got the S8+ as a backup
