    SiJoBo , Jan 11, 2019 :
    Hi all,

I've been playing with custom ROMS and recoveries for my OP5 and would like to return to stock. I noticed that the MD5 sum for the most recent recovery (https://oxygenos.oneplus.net.s3.amazonaws.com/recovery.img) doesn't match the MD5 sum given on the download page (https://www.oneplus.com/ca_en/support/softwareupgrade/details?code=5). I've downloaded the file a couple time to be sure, and the resulting MD5 sum is 738c9e4a2de1c69932073aa0965f60de.

Can anyone confirm that this is the correct recovery image for the OP5?

    Thanks in advance!

    Simon

I have same situation and really got confused about it. But I tried to download with alternatives download manager all of that gives same md5sum that doesn't matches so that there are 2 possibilities
First one, they forgot to update md5 (Generally happened)
Second one, (really it happens rarely) the file on server got broken and if this happened nothing can be done without alternative server link.

You can try to download the latest full ROM zip and extract the recovery from it.

    It has been corrected.
If you need the custom recovery, just install the official ROM and don't use twrp after that.
When you boot the ROM, your recovery will be overwritten with the one stored in the ROM.
