    hi all,

my OP5 is stuck at the system update, it won't go further once it reached 100% download. each time I open the system update menu it sees a new version, I tick the download now button and it pops immediately to 100% completed and than does nothing anymore.

    any tips?

Well that was a slow burn. Joined in 2014, no posts until 5 random gibberish in the last 15 mins - I half expected that you were going to be a Korean porn spammer playing the long game.

Sounds like a common problem, hopefully the suggestions here work for you.

I understand why they have the rule, it just doesn't work.

As anyone who hangs out here will know, we still get outbursts of Korean porn spam 4-5 times per day. Sadly they don't even include pictures any more, so now they're just annoying.

My brother has a 3T that is stuck at 71%... I think you must wait a new firmware update and see if it works :/

wifi or 4G both won't do the trick. what helps is to clear the cache of the System Update app in settings. it than starts the download at 0% but as soon as it reaches 100% nothing happens

    fixed!

first delete the partially downloaded file via file manager, make sure you see hidden files.

second clear the cashed data in the Systems Update app under settings

    third reboot

    all works now!
