the current version on my phone is attached. when can we get the latest version.

the update delay is hampering auto updates to apps.

i have to manually update apps from playstore

So ask Google. Play store updates are controlled by them.

i don't think so. why do other phones or even lesser op phones have latest versions. and once i clicked on the version number on play store the libraries have been updated. so hope it's done.

Just go download it elsewhere if you're worried about it.

    Simple enough: https://www.cnet.com/how-to/force-the-play-store-app-to-update-on-android/

Google does release this (I believe it started out as an old Linux app, late 2000's), but I bet they have some fairly complex algorithms to gate things, based on various possible variables (country/location, Android version/OEM-subversion, etc...).
For example, if OP has a known issue, with a build and a new drop of the PS, they're going to want to block this (appropriately), until the issue is fixed. Hosing everyone's Play Store wouldn't be very popular

Who do you think owns the Play Store ? It has nothing to do with the manufacturers of the phone.

I have the latest version but apps do not update automatically tried clearing storage and reboot but still doesn't update.
Strangely yesterday while warp charging a number of apps did update but oddly not all some I had to manually update.
    Very odd
