OxygenOS Open Beta to Stable not possible Error shows not possible to lower version via OnePlus 6

    i tried to update my OnePlus 6 from OP6_O2_BETA 33 to Stable version OnePlus6Oxygen_22_OTA_025_all_1809150101 but it's showing and error and not allowing to downgrade.

    If you want to ping-pong between stable and open beta OS versions, you have to understand that the system will not allow the installation of an older build OS, unless you use a roll-back zip which wipes all data. The build date of the OS you are trying to install is September 15, 2018. Looks like the very old, first version of pie.

    You are in beta and in the first post of the beta thread it says:
    to go to stable rom you have to erase all the data

    Save important information, you can use switch, copy the file to pc

    downloads from the rom support page and copy to internal storage: /
    turn off, press -volume and on, english, wipe data and cache
    wipe data, done
    wipe cache, done
    update from internal storage and look for the rom: .zip
    restart
