Tbh I have absolutely no clue what is being explained or tried to be justified here.

inflation, cost cutting, innovation and on the other hand getting into detail on specific items and what costs are involved there to develop and maintain them. It’s a bit of a story that goes all over the place but the only thing that’s mentioned is increasing parts pricing and leaving out some real significant parts or aspects.

The title was: OnePlus: Hero or Villain, where I now ask myself; is OnePlus a Company or a brand name?

It's mixed. For a company or anyone it's a call which side you want to go.
    Either way it's a gamble.
As a customer or as an individual I believe "take the step and stick to it to prove your ability".
Either a villain or a hero please make your presence strong. Every followers want to see it from one+ admin.

1+ is just a company in a bit of an innovation slump. No heroes or villains to be found, just meh

We agreed that one plus is bringing new features and hardware with its new launch but the prices which has been offered is not justified with it.

My opinion is more towards Villain than Hero....🙏

That is better considering one side of the coin... Less devices mean that they lose a chance to get customers buy their phones more often.

I know a lot of people that change their phones frequently, even if they are last year flagships. So, it makes sense for them to release new models.

Also I feel that many of the users (maybe me too) are sticking with the company due to their image of making phones for 'enthusiasts'. Not sure if it's still true, but I think it's too early to decide a hero or villain.
