I don't use the OnePlus weather app, nor the OnePlus launcher. Yet the draining still happens

I have plenty of these entries in my logcat

The log messages aren't comforting at all, especially one init event logged with ERROR severity, plus the line that says:

    "OPLocationProvider init frequently, ignore!!"

So, what the hell is this service about, and how can we disable it?

I think it's used by the ROM to get location for OOS features, like OOS camera (store location when snapping a pic) or auto night mode (in order to get sunrise/set times it needs your current location).

Still I think that sometimes it abuses the GPS, which badly affects battery. What's worse is that it doesn't show up in the Android battery stats as a standalone entity, but it's battery consumption gets reported under "Android System"
