OPO abruptly shuts down on 20-30% battery

    Hello All,

After the recent update, I have observed that my OPO abruptly gets shut down when its on low battery i.e ~20-30%.

Earlier I see the OPO running on 8-20% battery too, but now this doesn't happen.

Has something changed in the latest release? I tried searching for a Power-Saver functionality but couldn't find one.

    Please assist.

I face the same issue. I think, the software is not showing actual battery percentage. Not sure how to fix it

    try this...

Switch off ur phone and charge it for 6-8 hours or probably over-night. It will be fine in the morning.

    Its a battery calibration issue.

    Hi All,

I am also experiencing the same issue! I tried charging it completely last night and the same thing happened today again.

@mayanks : I will also try the method you suggested by keeping it plugged in all night long, hoping it works

    Thanks,
    Nilay

Its a battery calibration issue. Charge ur phone till 100% and then let it drain till it automatically switches off. Repeat this 2-3 times to re calibrate the battery.

Not to good idea to deep discharge(phone shutting down itself) the lion batteries, it degrades quicker.

Best to continue normal usage with every time plugging in till 100% without interruption.

@babu1226 it's a battery callibratoin issue, to fix this, charge your phone to 100%, then drain it, (till swtich off,) best way to do it would be play a game on full brightness.
When the phone is off, charge it without turning it on, (this is important) after it's charged to 100 turn it back on, the problem should be fixed, if it doesn't repeat the process.

beware though...this fire up everything on your phone. your phone **might** get hot but this would solve the issue for sure.
