Call quality is great actually a little too strong. I usually lower the volume on calls. The speaker phone is awesome.

Call quality has not been resolved. I have a new OPO this week, running 44s, and 50% of the calls I make and receive are terrible. The person on the other end can hear me fine, but I can hardly hear them. Sounds they they are talking with a hadn in front of thier mouth - very muffled and echoy. Anyone else?

Yes call quality for me has been fine.
Absolutely love the phone other than my minor yellow band issue.

CyanogenMod 38r working really smoothly for me while waiting for 44 OTA. Themes make the user interface a really pleasurable experience compared with stock.

this might be a problem caused by your carrier rather than your handset. i've not had any trouble with calling and being called on this device.

I use 02 in UK. Never had any problem with 02 before on any of a dozen phones before. Any tests I can do?

Will try, but all my friends are on O2. Would I need a different network to try?

i think so. if your provider is the issue, testing with the same provider wont give you any usefull results, exept if your SIM-card is faulty

For sure this is not the biggest issue of OPO. I am not an IPhone fan but for sure can tell you that OPO is not better phone than iPhone. It is just budget chiniese phone with good features and some quality issues. Wish you luck

For me call quality is bad. Exactly the issue that
bluewest8 link describe. When I call, the other side don't hear me correctly. I can hear them correctly. And if I move to hands free, they can also hear me. This is the first phone I have had that sounds better in hands free mode that normal calls.

It appears that for me, sound recording works well.

This is similar to the issue faced by me as well.
I have also noticed that the voice is better when you switch to Speaker mode (which is kind of weird, given that I am almost always able to hear the other side with/without the speaker mode activated; but they can hear my voice only after putting it on speaker mode).

I have tried with various sim cards and other phones with same set of sim cards; the problem persists only in the OnePlus One handset.

I purchased the phone via Amazon.in on 20th Jan and the warranty is still on given that it is for 1 year and I have written to OnePlus support (mail id: support.in@oneplus.net).
