So I tried using Liquid Smooth for a while... it wasn't that great. The backlight of the physical buttons would not turn off. It takes 1+ second to turn on the phone. And at that point, I just restored back to CM11s lol.

I discovered there is a setting for it. Settings, Buttons, Backlight. Set to 1 sec.

Turning off Lockscreen notifications help a bunch too.

I'm thinking to submit a ticket to RMA my OPO....

Facing screen freeze and reboot on stock CM rom, 38r & 44s.... Reflash based on official fix for random reboot still same... Now rooted and clean flash to CM12 and still same...

    Haizzz, any help bro?

Nope, just need to root and install custom recovery (TWRP). Then you are ready to flash.

The official CM 12 build is slower.

Can always clean flash using TWRP. Power off and boot to TWRP recovery.

    1. Make a nandroid backup in TWRP, select all options.

    2. Perform a full wipe.-Select the wipe option from the TWRP home screen.
    - Select advanced wipe.
    - Check the system, data, cache, and dalvik cache options.
    - Swipe to wipe.

    3. Install the custom ROM, gapps, modem, kernel (optional) & supersu.
    - Select the install option from the TWRP home screen.
    - Navigate to where you have the above zip stored on your OPO and select it.
    - Swipe to install.

    4. Restore data from backup
    - Navigate to TWRP folder and select the backup
    - Check data
    - Swipe to restore.

    5. Reboot
    6. Enjoy!
