AMOLED Screen is prone to Burn in's while IPS LCD's are not, the color's are over saturated and yes you get the true Black color, Energy effecient? Absolutely! But........IPS LCD's - Accurate and more natural color's, images are more crispy and this is why i would get a device with LCD display over the AMOLED ones. So in the end OPO Still stands tall and Handsome and Muscular. OPO is a Flagship device and the OP-X, X Stands for experimental i.e The X line will always be the line where OnePlus can experiment a bit more (OnePlus said it). The OP-X Stands below OPO.
- OPO
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC @2.5 GHz
- Adreno 330 Clocked at 578 MHz
- 64 GB Built in storage (Forget buying that SD Card.)
- 5.5' IPS JDI Display (Natural Colours + Crisp picture quality, Blacks are not true blacks.)
- 3100 mAh battery (Stays alive for more hours.)
- Has NFC

- No FM Radio
, seriously? why? why the hell disable FM?
- OP-X
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AA @2.3 GHz
- Adreno 330 Clocked at 450 MHz
- 16 GB Inbuilt storage + Expandable upto 128 GB (Need to buy a SD Card if you run out of storage.)
- 5' 1080p AMOLED Screen (AMOLED Screens are prone to the common Burn in issue, Colours are more saturated i.e a more colourful display + You get a screen which can actually show you true Blacks.)
- 2,525 mAh battery (This is where the AMOLED does its job i.e its good at being Energy efficient than LCD screen's.)
- No NFC
, not a major use for me though.
- Has FM Radio.
