    Hi there,

i still have the OnePlus One with the last official OTA CyanogenMod 13.1.2-ZNH2KAS3P0.
Is there a tool existing which can transfer my configuration, messages, apps etc. on OP5 Oxygen?

Or is the only way with Root+Titanium Backup? :flushed:

    greetings

    Heya,

way back I used Helium for a root-less application+data restore - you need to use Chrome to sync with that app. Then you just copy-paste the directory on your target device and run the app. Most was restored flawlessly - of course the apps that use their own local data hidden in a folder somewhere are another topic.

hmm, and with Titanium this hidden data would be backupped, too?

Is there an easy and simple way to transfer everything? Some files in storage and apps, hope to include app related data (such as login information, chat history, etc).

    Yes, android supports this.
Not familiar with your current set up, but contacts and emails are stored in your google account.

Take a cable and connect the phones before you set up for the first time. Then import everything. This should work.

Its natively supported in KitKat and later. Your good no worries. You may need a cable with USBC on one side and microsd on the other depending on oppos connector. I'm not familiar.

But please consider another brand that supports microsd. This is unacceptable, please don't settle for this sir!

I don't have such kind of cable, most of my cables have USB-type A on one end.

    Buy one.

    Or buy an adapter.

Or buy a phone that supports microsd, and use a cable that's compatible on both sides. The microsd won't help you with transferring if its adopted. But I recommend a phone with microsd over a phone without microsd.

    Those are your choices.

Smsbackupandrestore will do text messages with the special chars, pics, and visd. Both combined will give a desired result, but will take 2 hours. A cable is 15 mins, but if you don't have one you don't have one.

Text message is not an issue for me, I use Google Voice, text message and call log are in my google account.

I did it right now. The settings didn't transfer though. Apps and accounts did.

So it does transfer account username/password? No need to sign in again?

Definitely not for the phone accounts. For some apps I had to relogin because not every app integrates with Google secrets android mecanism.

I believe the Google account should transfer most of your apps. You can also try the NFC function to see if things will transfer easily that way. If not just use an old fashioned USB cord and put everything onto your computer and transfer onto the new device.

Such a pain, isn't it? LOL Enjoy your new device!

Easy way will burn data ... let Google Backup do it all. Otherwise, root both devices, backup, xfer via WiFi Direct (such as FX File Manager), and restore.

If you use Google Backup, it will restore on initial setup.
