OPO OS updates in India - What's going to happen? Jan 23, 2015

Alright, so the OPO in India comes with the CM OS but doesn't seem to have any OTA updates available in the future. What I've read so far seems to indicate that although we won't get OTA updates, we will still be able to install it through some other methods which we will be informed about by customer support. I had also read that OnePlus is starting its own Android team for developing new OS, so in the future will they be using CM or their own OS? Websites talking about the OnePlus Two say that it won't be sporting the CM OS either. So is OnePlus doing away with CM in the future and switching to it's own OS? At the end of the day, I'm just concerned about how these updates will affect a phone bought in India and the types of updates we will be receiving.

If anyone has consolidated verified information on this I'd really appreciate it if you shared your knowledge with me and whoever else may be interested.
