I came across a new phone gionee elife s5.5 and specs looks great and very much comparable(sometime greater too) with OPO.

I couldnt understand why gionee elife s5.5 dint great much hype as OPO.

Note - I am not promoting any other brand. I am just trying to understand from tech front on what i am missing for gionee elife s5.5

for me any phone with NO LTE band is not even worth looking at, because such a phone is already outdated before even getting it.

Trust me. There is only one OPO. Nothing compares for the price/specs.
Ask the same question toward the end of 2014 and you may get a very different answer.

gionee s5.5 (blu vivo IV) seems perfect, but snapdgragon 800 and 3000mAh battery wins...

    It has an MTK SoC.

If you like having four or more cores that never get used, go for it.
