OPO vs Nexus 6P

I've been looking at the Nexus 6P lately and there's a lot I like about it. But I don't know if it's with upgrading from my OPO, which still works fine.

Has anyone on here picked up or used the 6P much? The comparisons I'm curious about most are the battery life and speaker volume and quality. How does that stuff compare to the OPO?

Edit: I'm curious about the camera comparison as well.

If you are perfectly happy with your opo why are you suggesting swapping it

It works fine, but I'm not perfectly happy with it. The software updates have been particularly frustrating and a few other little issues I've had. The camera has been kind of disappointing as well.

The SW side just get into flashing custom ROMs. It's one of the best devices I've seen for it

I'm running CM13 snapshot right now. CM 13 nightlies before that, and the 12.1 snapshot before that. I just don't like that I have to flash a custom ROM to get faster updates than the official builds.

You asked me the right person :) I went from oneplus one to new us 6P and it is definitely better in almost every way including camera quality (reliability etc), battery life is better mainly due to doze but if you use your phone heavily etc don't expect it to be alot better, speaker value amd quality is better but not the best (nexus 6 and htc boom speakers have the best ones) compared to oneplus one its an easy win since you get dual front facing speakers.

Other things you will notice is amoled display (if you havnt used a phone with it before get rdy for some eye candy :p) and also latest stock android (definitely more stable)

I've played with the 5x and that device was like butter, fluid, great pics, so crispy. So if the 5x was great I'm sure the 6p would be even better!!!

Please, don't be ridiculous. OPO is the best phone I've ever used. I haven't owned a N6P...or THAT would be the best phone I've ever owned.
Until OP3 is out, if you can't afford N6P...stick with OPO.

    BOOM

Its definitely a better phone, but not worth it if your OPO is still fine IMO. Buy a 2016 phone that doesn't have an 810 in it. Wait a few more months for the new Nexus. I'm thinking of that one myself.

Agree. Get a sd820 phone instead. Just wait a few more months since ur opo is working fine.

    I would wait.

The SD810 devices don't compare to the SD820's.

Either wait and see what the Op3 is or wait until May 18 to see what Google announces at I/O.

They may make a Nexus announcement.

You might want to wait a couple months. Rumor has it that HTC is doing two Nexus phones this year. HTC typically has impeccable build quality and finally proved that they can build a smartphone with a decent camera.

I had a couple of Nexus 6ps. Great phone. Bit big, great screen, very quick. Speakers were ok, front facing, but not great depth. The speaker on the LG G5 is better, good base.

6p is a premium device and costs quite a bit. Build quality excellent, finger print scanner quicker than the iPhone 6s plus (fractionally)
OS obviously very similar to the OP2.

I just got a OP2 today. Fancied a change. Like it so far, mind you, it's only been an hour. I'll probably pick up the OP3 as well, dependent on specs etc.
