Touch Wiz is not great but the Amoled screen is awesome and there are instances where the pen does come in handy. So it's a tough choice..

ON the touchwiz issue, I agree, it does.

On the rest, not so much. There's very little real world difference in daily use between the two, even with touchwiz, once you replace the launcher with Nova, and Xposed framework away some of the annoyances.

The size is very close between the two, and I use both every day, so I can attest to this, but overall, I like the way the OPO feels in the hand better. If it had removable battery and SD expansion, I'd pay more and still be happy about it.

I switched from the note 3 to the oneplus and I don't regret it. I haven't had any problems withe the oneplus but had several with the note 3 locking up and getting slow and laggy.

    OPO Over Note 3

    Nice Design
    CM11S and CM Support
Nice Camera (Clear Image is really cool) with 4k Video
    Battery Life
Hopefully Sooner Moto X feature like Ok SnapDragon
Note 3 is at least 100$ more than OnePlus (299$ vs 400$)

you can still get Note 3, which is not a bad device.

TouchWiz sucks. I will never buy a Samsung phone again because of that. And also you can't root without losing warranty forever. You can't reset the Knox flag.

I think the note 3 is still a solid choice, but im interested in all the customization options available with cyanogen mod. That said I've only seen 1 OPO in action aside from videos. I would personally go for the OPO, but that may be the part of me that wants something different from what ive already experienced.

Simply install a different launcher, there are so many to choose from that work well and are customizable.

    OPO wins.....flawless victory.
Touchwiz sucks donkey balls....never getting a samsung device ever again. The last year that I spent with a Galaxy Note 2 and the last 2 days that i've been using the OPO - I feel like I lost a year of my life which is never coming back again....

Do the S Pen features still work? No chance of bricking it?

Touchwiz is not just the launcher - its a collection of samsung bloat which contaminates the hardware it resides on.

I agree, I'm keeping both my Note 3 and OPO and I think that it is that the OPO is just a tad enough narrower that it does feel a little better in the hand, that and the gentle curve of the back panel vs the flat back of the Note 3.

I'd go with the OPO personally, I hate Touchwiz. I avoid Samsung phones in general.

Very well said, I have a note 3 and I love it but gotta get OPO as well as there are definitely quite a few advantages there :) May be one of these days OPO will replace my note 3 (the earliest scenario being if I let it go on the hard floor someday :D)

Um... well those are my personal preferences, am not saying they should be considered the norm&that you should agree. For me, a phone ends on 5.5". Anything above that is overkill. And personally I don't care abt SD card slot and removable battery. On my iPhone 5, I never filled more than half of 16GB so am sure I will be fine w/ 64GB.
