Thank you! I just type... I haven't found a stylus yet I feel safe enough to use, all the one I have tried have rigid hard parts close to the contact point... I think this might end up scratching the glass... but maybe is only my wrong thought.

Got a note 3, waiting for delivery of my OPO.
Note 3 has touchwiz, which is a bit of a pain, but I installed another launcher (Apex) and its an improvement. The samsung bloatware isn't an issue, just disable all the apps you dont use (most of them) and remove any updates and cache data.

The note 3 has the S-pen which is surpisingly useful and has IR blaster, microSD slot, internal SIM slot, replaceable battery, sensors for temp/humidity/pressure, 4k video and full LTE support. Also has active case features when an appropriate case is attached.
Size is very similar to the OPO (note is wider by 3.3mm, but shorter by 1.7mm and tinner by0.6mm).

When I get my OPO I'll have to change carriers as I'm on Tesco (O2) as their 4G wont work on the OPO (only EE or three will work). Also I've virgin media app for my tivo, and the Note 3 is fully supported for TV streaming, wheras the OPO will not be supported due to the fact the they cannot detect if its been rooted or not.

I'm gonna try out the OPO for a week and then decide.

Thanks for your comments, it helps! I'd the phone mostly as a phablet that fits my pocket yet allows to do some productivity stuff (see my Project "OPO as a Productivity Tool"); the stylus seems a big plus of the Note, though I'd try a precise capacitive stylus (just ordered) with the OPO. I still have time to decide until Sept (I expect the Note 3 price go down after announcing the Note 4). Let me know you impressions after you get the OPO. - Thanks!

Easy to switch to other rom.
CM11 is better on Note3 at the moment, bugless. Believe me.

Same behaviour. I prefer Amoled, warmer settings.
Compared side to side, my Note3 still have better screen than OPO.

You would be better off with a Nexus 5 if you're interested in the OPO because of the price point.

OP- I'd recommend not getting the note 3 because of two reasons. TouchWiz and the plasticy build quality. The faux leather on the back is definitely better than a simple polycarbonate back, but I think you should just wait for the OPO.

As a daily use, you won't see difference.
The only problem is : Samsung price.

Sold at same OPO price, nobody wouldn't get OPO.
