Why there is no Christmas Sale in india.
Opo always ignore india from beginning.
Except india all over world where opo is available there was Christmas Sale. People was getting opo without invite.

S5 is a good choice if it comes down to 25K.. For that matter, there's no point paying more than 20-25K for any phone... But I dont believe S5 will come down to 25K, thanks to Samsung's principle of looting India.

Regarding the invite system, I surely think its OPO's inventory problem. For a vast market like India, open sale(without invite) would be like opening flood gates.. you gotta be better prepared for such things.. Which only Samsung, LG etc can handle at the moment..
OPO will surely get there.. may be in another 3-4 months.. I am ready to wait for 3-4 months.. as OPO is bang for the buck at 22K...

If price is king and bang for the bucks is cool then let revisit the two (BTW I am a Oneplus One user) -

    Advantage of S5-
#Great camera (the oneplus camera is also equally good)
    #Great Amoled Screen
    #Established brand with good support
    #Dust and water proof

    Advantage Oneplus-
    #3GB Ram over 2GB
    #Bigger 5.5 inch screen/good display
    #Snapdragon over Exynos
#Better design (subjective ofcourse but the design of Oneplus hasn't been panned as that of S5)
#CyanogenMod over Touchwiz (even if oneplus stop shipping with CyanogenMod in India you can still root CM with out losing warranty. Ofcourse there is nothing wrong with touchwiz but if you are an android purist or loves CM things get a little tricky with S5 as Exynos processor doesn't get as much CM love as Snapdragon and also rooting your S5 may void your warranty)
#You get 64gb inbuilt storage with oneplus of course you have the option of extending memory in S5 but then again 64gb is heck a lot and inbuilt memory has their many advantages.
    #Oneplus cost 21,999 vs 30,000 rupees.

So do you think S5 have enough to justify the extra 7,000 bucks?

    Your call!

    Best of luck!
