Do you think its a good idea and would be a lot easier for OPO to partner with Flipkart rather than have warehouse in India? Like how Moto did with the Moto G?

Not only Flipkart, OPPO has the option to tie up with snapdeal / Amazon too. All of them are almost or equally good to handle such kind of launch. But I do hope they do not repeat the mistakes of Xiaomi with the atrocious registration process. The preorder/ invite system is still better since it does not give you false hope of buying the phone.

Regards, Veteran of 4 xiaomi registration round :) :)

I think that OPO will not partner with Flipkart nor with Snapdeal, but they will go with amazon.

I think that it is nice to have its own warehouse and sell like MOTO did as already they have such promotion (invitation offers) that will make their image really good only if they give each and every registered members a change to have it.

They won't go with either of the ecommerce in india. Because I think they want to create an brand image like Apple or Rolls.

It will suck like Xiaomi Mi3/redmi if they go with flipkart or flash sale thing..but ya keeping a warehouse idea is good..agree on that

People like all new trends of sales, i.e. flash sales, invites, pre-order. expecting some more new ideas from OPO as they do things differently(It should be friendly as well)
By any mean it’s going to retailed…;)

Not only I would suggest OPO to join hands with Flipkart but also with Snapdeal, Amazon and other eCommerce sites. Being inclined to one site will lead to server shut down. We are quite familiar with Flipkart's debacle whilst Moto G's, Mi3's launch. Opening a dedicated center will lead to increase in cost. Who knows one might end up paying 35k+ for OPO.

Owning a physical storage space and traditional way of marketing will add up the cost....and we the customers would end up paying more

It'll be better to partner with any of the e-com site, they'll surely save a lot of resources by doing so..
Moreover, outsourcing their support in India, would definitely add to their savings..

First, its not OPPO, its OP or specifically OPO :p
Second, I have read on many blogs that OP have deciding which E-Com to go with among Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon? Most probably, it should be Flipkart, but there may be surprises...

I also heard that OPO is in talks with FK and all the leading e-commerce sites for launch. Let's wait and watch. Please keep the price as low as possible by not going other than e-commerce.
