    Of course.
This has been public and absolutely not hidden since the very beginning. Being part of a group doesn't mean everything is identical between this group's brands.
Volvo belongs to Chinese Geely group, as well as Lotus and BYD, and each brand keeps its personality for instance.

The link between oppo and oneplus has been common knowledge for years.

It even used to say "manufactured by oppo" on the side of oneplus boxes, not sure if it still does as I haven't used a oneplus for a few years.

When a group launches a new brand, usually it's to conquer new markets, aim at new targets, try new ideas… not to merge with older brands a few years later.

Even Huawei is letting Honor live its life by selling it!

OPPO'S fastboot recovery tool actually worked on the OPO and Installed ColorOS. So even if people.chose to believe OP was a single entity, the physical evidence said something very different.

FYI, "OPO" stands for OnePlus One.
This statement doesn't imply the same for following models, as real compatibility depends on many different factors.

Anyway, who would install ColorOS without being forced to do it? :D

Indeed Bro, who would have thought OPPO and OnePlus had the same bootloader? They even had the same Yellow banded screen too. 🤫

If your One Plus One bricked as they did on a regular basis, just flash the OPPO rom with the recovery tool and you were good to go. Using OP's and other third party tools quite often meant you were in for a long day. The original Gcam was OPPO'S camera, lifted and dropped on the OPO and worked perfectly😂😂

The Mod made fun of Color OS but the longest third party ROM thread for the OPO was Color OS, come to think of it there were actually two dev threads. 😂 That should make one wonder was COS really that bad back in those times.

Oneplus Exclusive the video says. ;)

It looks like a lot of people used COS, back in those dark times.
