Pitrav , via OnePlus 8T , Feb 20, 2021 : Hello, I have an 8T running OOS 11.0.7.10.KB05BA EU. 3 weeks ago I started charging my phone overnight and using optimized charging instead of charging from 20 to ~90% every morning. I know it is necessary some time for the phone to "understand" my routines and run an optimized charge but in these 3 weeks the battery always went to 100% in 40 minutes without any pause or slow charging time. Is anybody experiencing this issue? Am I doing something wrong?
ShreyasPatil_ , via OnePlus 8T , Feb 20, 2021 : Try restarting your device. And toggle the optimised charging function. The device will learn your wakeup time in a few days. After that you can keep your device on optimized charging. If it helps do mark it as best answer.

rizwanqureshi786 , via OnePlus 8T , Feb 21, 2021 : There is no problem with this at all. Optimise charging analyse the pattern of mobile usage. For an example I use mobile all day, when i put it on charging in day time it charge fast and reach 100 in very less time. Now 2nd case i am not using my mobile in night around 12am to 6pm. Now i put my mobile on charging at 11:30pm, now optimise charging will work it charge my mobile for some time and then pause the charging to reserve battery life from remain in charging whole night. Now optimise charging will resume charging before your mobile usage pattern in morning time. So there is no problem with this. Optimise charge will charge your mobile fast in the time when you use your mobile at that time in regular basis and it will charge it slow in time when you are not using your mobile.
eastbay , via OnePlus 8T T-Mobile , Feb 21, 2021 : It sounds like an isolated problem. Mine works when set too 80. It works at a hundred. Try reset the phone. clear cache. Maybe an update. Call provider. Even youtube tutorials are excellent. If nothing works call one plus technical support. Some time they are very helpful. Good luck.
