OPX: SD card fix now or wait for Marshmallow?

?

When do you want the SD card issue fixed on the OnePlus X?

  1. ASAP - I'll use it now and reformat when Marshmallow is available

Oh well! 12.1% would still wait for marshmallow.

    I NEED IT ASAP!
And fortunately OnePlus will be delivering it ASAP.

If you bought it via Paypal, try and use their return policy.

Yesterday, after booting up my device I saw that my sd-card's name changed to a strange long name. Also it contained 2 files. One was called "lost.dir". and the other one was called 'android'. the android file contained files of apps and cache files. I have not moved any apps to my sd-card. Is this normal?

    Hi all!
I have OPX with oxygen os 2.1.3-x. The problem is "When i insert microsd card (along with sim), sim does not get recognised, but the moment sd card is removed, sim gets recognised. any solution?"

What brand is your micro SD card? Is your SIM card originally nano SIM size or did you cut it down?

My guess is that maybe your micro SD card is slightly too thick, and you SIM card can't properly touch the contacts when the micro SD card is also inserted?

Were you previously saving files to the micro SD card? Sometimes when files aren't saved properly they can go into the lost.dir folder.

Solved that problem a long time ago by using Tasker to move my stuff to the SD card periodically (every 2 days)

I have two OPX with 128GB MicroSD cards, one from Samsung and other from SanDisk. Both work perfectly fine on the newest OS. I would recommend resetting the phone, it should sort out the bugs, or try formatting the MicroSD card through the phone

One thing I am confused about is the wording for erasing the SD card... they only say it "erases" the card rather than "format". I'm not sure if it's truly formatting the card?
