Just ordered these 2.5D things... will take only 15 to 29 days to arrive ;-)

Thanks to the thread opener, I cancelled my order with Amazon immediately.

Hope this thread will be updated when users receive their screen protectors from a*iexpress or vi*ocal. Those are very cheap (thus, doubtful) tempered glass but hey, who knows ?

I think that a bad / average tempered glass protector would still be more efficient than the protector that comes with the OPX (which is more efficient than nothing^^)

It just comes now to the principal issue : Will a 2$ tempered glass be 2.5D and cover the whole area ?
Guess we'll wait and see !

EDIT : Since those two websites are actually chineese, we might get our answer rather sooner than later when chineese users try it and review it in the forum !

Obviously it's not possible to cover the whole area (same for the iphone display) but this specific OnePlus X Tempered Glass got really high noticable ugly border along the whole screen cause without 2.5D and lifts up. Unfortunately OnePlus did a bad job with this specific accessory, why nobody noticed that? Hope they will consider to refund their customers and to fix the problem.

when you peel that "Never Settle" plastic, there is a screen protector under it. Unless you managed to peel both of by mistake.

It comes pre-installed and bubble free.

The same way they can make the freaking 2.5d glass on the phone, is also possible to make the tempered glass. It's a extra cost to make it, but at the price that they charge, they could have come with a better solution.

I'd be more than happy to have something like the link that I shared for the iPhone 6/6s

OnePlus should refund all customers for the bad product sold. The tempered glass sold by Oneplus doen't fit in the screen. Bad product and we loose our money.

After over a week OnePlus answered my support ticket. In the meantime the protector caught dust under the edges that lifted up and it lost more and more contact to the display screen.

Eventually, I had to remove the entire screen protector.
