Looks good at first glanse, but after watching their application video on youtube, I must say I slightly am sceptical, to that whole 3D cover. I do thing they glamorise, and make it look very easy in the video, But having worked with car foil and window tinting, I know it is not that easy to get the air bubbles out, when you cannot have water under the foil that you are working with. In the video they actually turn the phone up into the light at one point at timeline 2.30m-2.33m showing some really hard to get out bubbles, syill under the plastic, then they edit the video, and you never see them again.

i am sure it is possible to get it good, BUT NOT, for the general public phone users.
Also i can imagine 3 months down the line, the film that they bend over and around the sides, will after daily use start to peel off, because they cannot have such a strong adhesive on the film itself for home use, that will keep it there tight when you start handling it.

so I stand very sceptical to it, as I know how hard it is to get that to look good, even with the stabalizers they provide. But I may be wrong and stand corrected. I´ll let some others try and buy first and lets see what comes of it.

Yes, I have same problem since day one, actually the seller didnt have OPX screen so he used some other device screen but the curved glass giving issue.

The seller himself agreed to replace it for free when actual OPX tempered screen arrives.

Quick update.. OnePlus is not going to refund me, but send another screen protector.

Well now, that's really helpful, thank you OnePlus! -.-

Not sure why anyone that orders a OnePlus X Tempered Glass would claim it is some how defective or should be issued a refund...all tempered glass regardless of what company makes it... for the X is gonna have the same sorta "problem" cuz you can only make tempered glass FLAT. They never claimed any kinda "curved" 2.5D crap. jeez.

Have you even looked at the photos? It would be perfectly acceptable for me if the protector would not protected the curved edges. But instead it is just too long and lifting up from the screen due to the design of the screen. If they made it shorter, it would "fit" better. This is what i criticize.

The '2.5D' tempered glass protector that I'd ordered with ********** two weeks ago arrived today. I haven't fitted it yet because the original one is still fine but what I can say is that it's exactly as big as the original one, the 2.5D only refers to the chamfered edges which make the transition from the screen 'up' to the protector smoother.
A protector that would go all the way down to the metal frame would be true 3D and probably very difficult to fit, it would most likely break easily when bent ever so slightly.

Unfortunately, as already mentioned above, common tempered glass, intend 2.5d curved the rounded edge of the cover itself, but still leave a few millimeters of the screen discovered. I finally found a real side by side glass coverage that leaves only discovered the aluminum side frame. Unfortunately, the flexible glass 3D or ARC 3D, that cover all body aren't available yet, I bought last week the ARC front-back film, hoping to be of high quality, This is the link to the product:

This image shows the top left corner. The other three corners give the (nearly) same view. (In terms of a clean attachment of the tempered glass.)

Complain at the OnePlus Support department. They will offer you a free replacement for the protector. That's what they told me.

Thanks, actually I was more curious about the down edges. Maybe some Tempered Glasses are a bit longer?

I've kindly reported the problem a couple of weeks ago, waiting on a last reply. In the meantime ordered a flip cover.
