Out of the blue, I got an invite from OPO. I ordered OPO this morning. There were two shipping options to Canada: Express (DHL) and Standard (USPS; $36.99). I am going to wait and see what will be final costs.

I also ordered one from Ontario yesterday morning, just got the shipping notice 30 min. ago, hoping the duty charges won't be too high

I have heard bad things about DHL, I don't know if they are true or not, but I hope you receive your device without any issues.

Use USPS, DHL does not have a good feedback many folks posted the same. Prior to delivery they have charged customs and taxes and it varies from person to person. Post feedback Opo has added USPS also as a option.

Congrats! When I ordered mine (located in Toronto), was only given DHL express as an option, with a $59.XX tax when coming in. Hopefully if you went with UPS you can avoid it.

Ready to pay between $20 to $30 for duty if you choose DHL. Total I've paid $475 CAD including shipping+duty (Phone + screen protector + flip cover).

next time ship it to a UPS store south of the border - if you can afford a drive down there and pick it up. That way you only pay the tax upon returning to Canada, save the brokerage fee the courier company would charge you to bring the unit across the border and paying your taxes on your behalf.

Well I picked USPS even though it cost a little bit more. I am hoping I could dodge the brokerage fees and taxes. Will let you guys know. The status got changes to "Processing" this morning.

My total cost was about $489 CAD after everything. I hate DHL with a passion but they were very respectful this time. Just make sure if you pay the duties online to Print thew receipt. They will demand more money if you dont.

Nope, nothing about taxes but I know there is a 13% HST in Ontario.
