Expected behavior	I should be able to select the WiFi band I would prefer to use

Following the update to Oreo, the ability to select a preferred band on a WiFi network has been removed. I can no longer fix to 2.5 or 5ghz bands. On certain WiFi networks this now means that they are unstable. The phone auto selects the 5ghz band which it then drops every 10 minutes because it is not stable. Why has this functionality been removed?
