This would also have been a better place for your question rather than starting a new thread.
For the record Oreo runs very sweetly indeed on my 5T and had no issues whatsoever. You will always see lots of whining on a community forum but remember that the vast majority of users who have had no problems will not feel the need to post.

There are few visual difference between these too. I prefer the Nugget's visual look. I would suggest to wait for the 8.1 update. Which will never come.

The point is why is it in beta testing if they aren't planning on releasing it? That would be a complete waste of resources. Have some patience it will come when it's ready.

This phone is awesome. Upgraded from an s7 edge and the comparison is ridiculous. Battery last 24 hours easy, speed is flawless and face recognition is rapid.

my friend stay away from Oreo even when the 8.1 stable realse.
look over here and see how many problems people have after update to Oreo.
now, I now I know same people will say "it's works good for me" and bla bla bla...
I'm still in 7.1.1 none even one problem , just bad camera

Same, couldn't be more happier with the decision i made. Even Beta builds are really good so far for me. No major problems or anything.

As for the OP go ahead and install Oreo but make sure to do a Cache wipe after every update. Helps to resolve some minor problems you could get after an update.

I'M SORRY THIS IS NOT RELATED
Guys I just bought my OnePlus 5t 3 weeks ago and I updated it from Android 7 to Android 8.0.0 and this week I encountered some problems with my camera app:
1)My camera app appears to be blurry and the pictures are broken(like got dots and lines....very noisy)
2)I can't pinch (focus) and even zoom....so I have to zoom manually by holding the 1x button


Another problem is My OnePlus 5t's fingerprint scanner can't scan my finger after I restart my phone
so I have to delete all my fingerprint and register a new one...but this is not a big deal...just help me with the camera...


One more issue... overheating while playing some games


guys please help me with the camera!!!

Better to post here than start a new Thread. Also have you considered wiping cache from recovery? As that usually fixes problems after an update.
