I just received and applied Orzly tempered glass screen protector today. It was Very easy in did.No bubbles no dust .
Perfect round edges. It covers front camera and sensors witch i like.
Up to now no big issues in viewing angles.Very clear view.
But a big question:WHY DOES NOT COVER THE SCREEN FROM EDGE TO EDGE?
it leaves 1mm to 2 mm from each side of my screen .the same and more from top and bottom.
Are all tempered protectors do the same?

This right here. If you had a tpu case you'd see why they cut it to be case friendly.

Ultimate Shield (also tempered glass) gets it all!

if you own an opo you can see that there is a plastic metallic border around the screen .so this would not be an issue

still, unless they changed the design, the screen is the outermost component, meaning it will be the thing to be scratched when you put it down on your table at lunch.

It is with TPU cases. They cover that extra space on the screen.

Which issues (think i missed that)... I have used the official 1+ back covers as well as the fake shizzle from ebay. All plays nice. And Ultimate Shield only costs £10.

I've just ordered an orzly one for mine, on my N4 I had a screen protector that left a 2mm gap from the edge of the phone and never had a problem with it.

I've also gone for an orzly gel case for now to protect the rest until a nicer one comes on the market

Some friends are saying that if you use a tpu case and the tempered glass, covers the entire surface ,then the orzly could be lifted off by the case

Most certainly not having any issue with the case and ultimate shield. That in mind, I took the back cover off now since they have exchangable back plates now... just waiting for kevlar to be released so my phone is bullet proof. :)

As you flip the case over it is still under quite a tension and if it encountered an edge right then it would risk being lifted. Plus the edge is a weakness, if it gets hit on the edge then it can crack. The case does the edge and the cover due the rest.

i ordered an orzly glass screen protector as well, should be here next week. i was worried about this issue of the screen covering the screen to the brim which could cause problems when i put my case over it.
what you described is a good thing. itll prevent the screen protector from being lifted from the screen when putting on/taking off the case
