For those of you new to android xda is an excellent forum for any device, much cleaner and more useful than this forum.

Anyhow just got my opo today and I ordered the orzly tempered glass screen protector right when I got my invte. Its only available in UK but shipping is still free to us and takes about 5 business days. It's an excellent product and I've tried all variations of screen protectors...wet...dry...cheap..pricey and tempered is by far the best and this is why.

    1. It shatters on extreme force impact. Same basic idea of a car crunchin. Its the principle that force applied has to go somewhere. With plastic protectors it is transfered to the phones screen below. With tempered glass it is dispersed via cracking. Still it would takeba a lot to crack this.
    2. 9 on the Rockwell hardness. Will not scratch as easily as plastic
    3. Glass feel. I despise the slightly sticky feeling of all plastic covers. This feels exactly like the glass below.
    4. Probably my favorite feature is the rounded edges. Android requires a lot of edge gestures. When you have sharp edges you constantly feel it. These edges are slightly rounded which feels so natural.

Why buying an incredible screen, only to make it worse trough putting more glass over it?
I removed everything on mine, even the standard protector. I put it in a sleeve when not used. Did this with my nexus and my s3,never a scratch ;)

(unless you work in rough environments, that's clear)

I would rather get the phone first before I even worry about the screen protector.

I see what you're saying there, and I agree with you. Personally, I'd rather not risk it. Replacing the screen costs more than a $10 dollar screen protector. Each to their own though.

Anyone know how this compares to the Nillkin tempered glass screen protector? (found on amazon and ebay).

I heard that it doesn't have cutouts for the camera and I think one of the light sensors. Is this correct?

    Can you please post pics?

    Thanks...

I think they are all pretty comparable. I'm more just a supporter of tempered glass

If you haven't tried paying a couple extra $£€ for tempered glass, you're missing out. I could never go back to plastic, again. It's amazing, like the phone doesn't even have protection on it.

Ok. Not crazy about the lack of cutouts. I'll be interested in your feedback after using it for a while.

    Cheers...
