    hmmm I wonder if there is a specific app maybe causing the drain.

    my usage is mostly screen on usage... texting, videos, etc. I even leave the screen a lot of the time on for Spotify. Maybe that's why I get such a high SOT

    If they can reduce the battery drain during idle/standby time to not more than 3-4% overnight that will also help improve overall battery life.

    Does anybody know why the Indian sales are being postponed 10 days without any prior notice?

    I'm one of the idiots who pre booked and kept an alarm on 12 AM IST on 11th May to buy it. I woke up to see that the dates been changed 10 days.

    Imagine my frustration when I've been using my 5T that's pretty much done without buying the S20 series ever since I saw the leaks.

    And the s20 series in India has exynos chips which are just outright crap compared to the 865.

    If anyone knows why this happened please tell.

    Hi there, I have Oneplus 8 pro, 12 GB RAM, it is my first Oneplus and everything is great exept battery life. I use a phone a lot but I do not play games on it at all. i cannot stand without charging during day. I switched from Huawei Mate 20 pro. To compare Huawei Mate 20 had same battery life after 18 moths usage as my new Oneplus 8 pro .
    Can it and will it be fixed with some future updates?
    Thank you
    P.S. i even switched to 60hz but it is not such big difference

    ha! I became a brand ambassador because I love OnePlus phones... like freaking love them. So I was like this before becoming a BA! Even if I was a billionaire I'd still be the OnePlus fan I am. This article is super positive I admit but it's about OnePlus and battery life. It's an easy topic to be super positive about. I get great battery life on my OnePlus phones and on top of that they charge really fast. For me, I literally don't have anything negative to say on this topic as it relates to 8Pro. I really do keep your point of view in mind when I write articles. I know the community wants both sides of the story!​


    Sir we do accept your views on op8 looking onto your honest message above , if possible please try to use op7 from Indian market and post your honest review... there r lots f issues like two mobiles of same model bought at same time, have difference in display ! heat issues r still der, we hv received updates till10.3.2 but problem is if one issue is sorted new issue starts ! There are much more painful customers like this , i have informed this at sercice centres too.

    I'm so sorry I do not have access to that device in my country. I would highly suggest using the feedback tool to report the bugs. Have you tried a clean wipe (after a full backup of course)?

    Facebook, Twitter, Slack, Tik Tok, youtube, Whatsapp, little gaming. My previous charging was 2 days and few hours without charging, SOT was around 4.5 h  But I think that battery can be even better.. Just needs few more optimizations

    i switched to dark mode and it got much better, before I would get from 100% to 20% in 10 hours and right now I am on 30% after 15 hours

    I am currently facing battery life problem because I have to use internet continuesly for 2 hours. Even though I charge my phone till 100% but within a hour it reaches 67%. What should I do?
