Outdoor Cycling Workout Not Tracking May 3, 2021

    Got my watch Saturday, very pleased with it on the whole but found at least one bug and have a question:

    Bug: Twice today I tried recording my cycle commute. No distance measured either time (9.5km each way). Outdoor walking tracking works fine.

    Question: when recording a workout, is it still possible to view the time of day?

    After today's update, 1.1km cycled, nothing tracked. Yes I know it shows miles but that's what we use on the roads in the UK. I cycle a lot, this is not exactly ideal. Is it something I'm doing wrong?

    same here, have tried a few times , get to end of cycle and nothing is logged also no weather, no notifications, seems to be an unfinished product, I would have thought having released a fitness band previously this would all work fine, even the health app is pretty cheap looking compared to what google will give you

    The Health App needs a lot of work and now they have a more widespread product release I would hope they improve it markedly.

    Update -
    resetting the watch to factory settings worked for me. Now watch calculating cycling data including gps

    Same for me also, GPS connect, but all the information related to GPS data is missing, like distance and velocity. Auto-pause does not work.

    I'm not resetting to factory settings again. I did it once (even though the watch was less than a week old) and it made absolutely no difference.

    I'm dealing with the same issue... It tracked my other outdoor workouts fine but it won't track distance for outdoor cycling

    I have exactly the same issue. 4 times tried outdoor cycling and since gps failed to record my root the workout was not logged.
    OnePlus you sold a watch that was not ready software wise and you are adding features and resolving bugs extremely slowly. What's wrong with you?

    So no update this month and still unable to file an official bug report because the watch isn't in the device list drop down menu so I guess this is something we're going to have to put up with. Shoddy support :(

    I have filed reports by selecting my phone (OnePlus 8 Pro) as the device. I actually interacted with a support person about my reporting the slow GPS start-up, so that sort-of worked, although I have no idea whether it actually resulted in a bug entry against the watch or not. That doesn't help, though, if your phone isn't from OnePlus. I agree, their commitment to supporting the watch has been less than exemplary so far.

    For me pausing the workout and resuming did the trick, not the most conveniant thing to to do but atleast it works...
