    Hi there,

Every time there is an update, my mobile data does not work.

Does anyone else have this issue?

    Thanks,

Try resetting your sim network settings and see if that works.

The same issue happens with me.
To fix it you might need to set up your apn settings
The easiest way is just go on Google type you service provider name (your sim card company/brand) and APN.
Than you would get options on how to set up APN.
Let me know if it helps
Or just tell your service provider I can provide you the link

Sorry I meant APN, my phone won't let me add new settings. I did go online and found them from my provider

I am a bit confused here when you say it does not able you too change.
It's it your are unable to add it or is it not showing the options.
Go go settings ➡️ wifi and network ➡️ sim & network ➡️ sim 1 ➡️ access point names ➡️ press on + ➡️ enter the details ➡️ press on 3 dots on top right corner ➡️ save

Yes I can go to the 3 dots, and select save, however when I save, it doesn't save it, it disappears.
I then have tried to edit the current APN, but that hasn't restored my data connection.
    Hope this makes sense.
Thank you for trying to help me with this.

The only way I think that's possible is reinstall os11
You will have to downgrade to android 10 and than reinstall android 11

The same thing happened to me when I updated. I contacted my SIM provider who told me to replace my current SIM but that hadn't worked so I took things into my own hands.

I reset my WiFi, Mobile and Bluetooth and afterwards everything went back to normal, I just had to re-register my previous WiFi networks and Bluetooth connections.

Follow these steps: Settings > System > Reset Options > Reset WiFi, mobile & Bluetooth > Reset Settings

    Hope this helps!

    Hi everyone,

I just figured out how to restore data without backing up and wiping the phone.

First go to the APN settings and delete everything.

Then all different types of APNs with come up, then select one that is your carrier (there might be multiple), and check to see if you have internet. Once you find the one, you are done.

    Cheers,

    Belinda
