After downloading the ROM that is supposed to help you downgrade, the installation fails, as displayed on the print screen I've attached

I'm trying to roll back from open beta 3 to stable, but the file specified here for downgrade isn't working.

I have been redirected from the Open Beta3 thread, so this should have applied as downgrade for all Open Beta softwares.

Do I have any other alternative to switch back to stable, or should I just wait for OnePlus to post the upgrade from OB3 to Pie 9.0 official?

    thanks

Worked for me from open beta 3 to recovery image then OTA update to stable android 9. Using the full zip as step 3 suggest in this post.

Do a backup before flashing it. Your data will be gone.

All the settings are saved in the Google drive for all the apps. You have to make sure that it's synchronised. When you run the full zip from beta to stable you will loose all data. I think you can use OnePlus switch to do a full backup.

I didn't use it because a wanted a fresh install.

I think I will go back to open beta, because this feels like a step backwards from stable release right now.

missing the Google assistant feature and a lower camera app versions don't know what's the difference is in camera app 2.8.29 and 2.8.30. But they should have done something..

This happens sometimes when your update file gets corrupted, due to getting paused and resume. I would suggest you to try to download update through a stable internet connection.
