Yeah of course it's been discussed already but I'm just tired to see if dumb comments asking for the update , begging to get the update the same day as OP7 when your device is from last gen.

Oh and I don't care about the ranking system here in the forums, that's not even relevant.

When can we expect the stable build?
And now that I'm running my One plus 7 pro on Public beta build, how will I be able to update to stable build? By normal official updates or downloading the package and then updating from Root directory?
Also, will there be any repercussions of data loss during the same?

No, I was at the latest Android pie build and upgraded via the local install procedure. I did perform a backup via Google though prior to the upgrade.

When the stable version comes out, will we need to install it manually or will it install automatically?

    Good morning!
After 12 hours with BETA in this morning I decided to do hard reset. The phone now works even better than yesterday, now I am getting notifications and Gmails, also the lockscreen now shows the time and face unlock is working.
No issues so far. Therefore I strongly recommend to do hard reset after installation.

    People, plz.
    1. Read the OP. And then read it again.
2.Use search, your question has been asked and answered 100 times already.
    3. If you have a question is about any other device than the OP7 / OP7 Pro, you are in wrong thread.

And calm down. The beta was just released. Dont ask ETAs for stable release. If there is info about upcoming releases, I think youll find the info about that in the op-forums via search. If not, there is no info about next release.

Welcome to the forums! Please read the bottom of the first post to provide feedback to OnePlus

You have to give Contacts app all permissions it asks for (in this case storage)

You have to be SIM unlocked from TMo in order to run OB1. If your device isn't paid off, use the XDA thread to fix that situation

Hold Power + Volume Up for 10 seconds to reboot. Profit

OB1 didn't SIM lock your phone. OnePlus did as they were contractually obligated to do to send phones to TMobile. Use XDA thread to SIM unlock your phone. You can get data through WiFi

Everything looks right. Do you have 5G variant? If so, not compatible.

3-6 weeks, install will be just like first post and you will 100% lose data by going to stable
