Checked my links above? Because you need to be able to understand those methods to upgrade and the last one to be able to revert to 9.
You most certainly have issue with the file ending with jar and not zip. Rename and move file to right directory or learn to use Oxygen Updater and you get the file to the right directory and with the right file extension right away.

It seems the back gesture sensitivity option that is available on pixel and was in the developer previews is now gone. Wonder why, it was helpful

the build.prop file is a config file. why would you expect it to change? it should be close to identical even between versions of android.

do a diff on binaries or source code, then you will see changes.

I've been doing this since DP3 and this is the first time it hasn't changed.

No, not the software itself but the direction they're trying to steer the software. The build.prop is literally a config file for the Android OS on the device. Any changes there are system-wide. Changing one line from true to false or commenting out a few lines can have a dramatic effect on the device.

all true, but I expect most major config changes to be done by the time an open beta hits. open beta should be all about stability and quashing bugs before general release. configurable features should be set. changes to configurable features just extend the testing cycle.

Open Beta 2 is much much better, much snappier, the jank and random freezes are a lot less, still happen under very heavy use (wasn't on Pie) but I'd consider this a near release candidate. It's very stable. No crashes, no problems just a tiny bit of jank here and there that's it.

    3 criticisms:

    1. Please for the love of God adopt the Android 10 style of icons with the outlines, the Pie aesthetic mixed with 10 just looks odd and inconsistent.
    2. Why is the Android 10 gesture navigation sensitivity option gone? It makes no sense removing it and on my work Pixel devices I found it extremely important in adjusting it to preference.
    3. The Incostistant dark theme needs to be fixed. Some areas are black (which it should be) and then some like the drop-down menu is dark gray.
All in all it's great and I have a feeling next update will be the release.

    Cheers

Same issue. It's most to the point where I'm going to downgrade bc I use Bluetooth for music for hours every day. Tried re-pairing devices several times and no dice. Hopefully it's fixed..

You would have to contact the Jio develepors and send them a log cat of the app so they can get the errors so they can make it work with our phones

well something has changed for sure. beta 2 has more issues that beta 1. clean install.

    Netflix don't work
    some bank apps don't work
magisk no longer roots device for me or on 9.5.13 always fails to root via mobile

    YouTube has issue intermittent

guess I'll roll back to stable until. final build as I leave me keeping root and not sure why it won't keep root now

Netflix works fine here (a not rooted 7 Pro) ... Upgraded from OB1. Some posted info from Google play with unsuppoeted device warnings and stuff. Some had this on OB1 and might even seen it on stable too.

Some got same issue on OB1 too with YouTube. Not sure on stable though.
