Open Beta may be cool, but when should we expect stable ota update to Android 10?

Just clear Chrome when I am done with it. Sometimes not even that. Haven't cleared any other app, anytime. Its completely unnecessary and then needs more resources to open it again when needed. So, whats the point. RAM management in Oneplus and Android is great, in any case.

Just in case something is unclear... DP4/5 get OTA to OB1. OB1 only get future OB updates. You need to revert to get back to stable build. Only stable builds get stable updates.

Mi Band notifications work. Reinstall the app.

Force Dark theme from Dev Options to use dark theme in all apps.

Its an Android 10 or Gboard thing. It cannot be removed as of now.

You might want to look for it in the OnePlus 6 thread. I mean, I wouldn't go to Galaxy S10 forums, looking for an update link for Galaxy S8.

I know this isn't a OnePlus issue but a Google issue, I am interested in finding out if anyone has any info on why Google Backup doesn't work on my OP7 Pro(beta) or my Google Pixel 3XL(official build). I would like to do a backup to Google Drive in the event I have to wipe my phone before updating to a official Android 10 build, or if I chose to go back to android 9.

Thaks for your feedback on Dark Theme. However, my concern was with complete integration with apps such as Amazon, where the images on the app look weird as the software is trying to differentiate between what is text, and what is image. Due to this, the the app looks pretty messed up

Hi! Any compatibility issues with usual applications so far? How is the battery consumption? Is it stable enough, or should we wait for an official OTA?

At the train station and at the market, because there is no 6G signal elsewhere

    Thank you appreciated.
OnePlus Did a Great Job providing latest version of Android Q.
some New features added into Q are
    1. Force Override Dark Mode in all Apps can be selected under developer settings
    2. Navigation Gestures Left and Right Swipe keeping OnePlus gestures Intact. cool option
    3. Digital Wellbeing and parental Controls
    4. Icon looks great
    5. Major System UI overhaul

Installation is easy as shown in Opening Post.
    however if you already have TWRP and rooted just follow this steps;
    1. Boot TWRP
    2. Install Zip
    3. Install Magisk
    4. Install TWRP
    5. Reboot system
    6. Reboot TWRP
    7. Install magsik again
    8. Wipe Cache and Reboot.

if you follow steps correctly you will boot to Beta Version with root working.

if you want to have visual guide for installation or watch Video of Beta 1 message me for the Link

    Mod Edit: Media link removed

You actually just have to flash the update, flash twrp, reboot recovery, flash magisk, wipe cache or factory reset (user preference for reset, I always factory reset before booting to a new OS or after any major update)

Installed open beta on OP7(primary device). Working fine with no issues as of now in any of the apps that I am using. One correction in the steps is that factory reset for open beta upgrade is not necessary as mentioned in point 5.

Just for fun, ran geekbench 4 and geekbench 5 after updating to android 10. Below is the result,

    Geekbench 5

Not sure why such a big difference in the results.

Yup. The forced Dark Theme doesn't look great on many apps, thus stopped using it after a few minutes. App devs would need to update their apps for it to look good.
